Warm wishes for cold weather running

If we had a fan we would have turned it on last week during the ‘Big Freeze of 2014’ and sent warm Jamaica breeze north. Alas, we only had this picture from the Reggae Marathon post-race party to share.

Brrrrr….it sure was cold in the U.S. recently.  When we saw the below zero temperatures in Houston, we got a serious shudder.  While our friends from further north have cold weather running gear we’re guessing those of you in the ‘Sunny South’ were challenged in dressing properly for cold weather running.  Just focus on the the photo above and repeat, “Warm beach!”

That will keep you warm inside…for the exterior, here are some tips from Runner’s World on how to deal with Cold Weather Running.

And assuming you can’t drop everything and travel down to Jamaica to get in some warm weather running, here’s a little inspiration to get outside and go running:

Hmmm…this inspiration works for everything!

“Warm Beach, Warm Beach, Warm Beach…”

Until next time…
