Road To Reggae Marathon



The aim of the Reggae Marathon Grand Prix road race series is to develop and promote long distance running in Jamaica and prepare athletes to compete in the annual Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K event, scheduled to be be held in Negril always on the first Saturday of December each year.

The Grand Prix road race series is staged in more than one parish throughout the island with races being held in Kingston, St Catherine, Clarendon, St James and St. Elizabeth.  It has produced long distance champions such as Kemoy Campbell, Shawn Pitter, Rupert Green, Natoya Goule and  Arieta Martin who regularly defend their titles.

There is always an attractive prize purse for the winners in the various categories. Entrants are able to compete in the under 35 age group, the Masters or over 35 and high school championship categories.
