Bebsie Thompson, the 72-year-old marathoner, married his running partner, Lorna Williams, on Valentine's Day.

Williams, 47, who won the Reggae Marathon in Jamaica in 2002, is a retired banker who now invests in real estate. Her marathon best: 3:21 in Jamaica.

Thompson finished third in the 70- to 74-year-old division of the 2004 World Masters Athletic Nonstadia Marathon Championship in New Zealand and works as an inventory control auditor at Office Depot. His marathon best: 4:30 at the 2003 World Masters in Puerto Rico. Both were born in Jamaica and live in Lauderdale Lakes.
