Reggae Marathon race registration and kit pick up begins today at the Couples Swept Away Sports Complex at 1 pm. This is my favourite day to stop by. Not too busy yet and there's the opportunity to catch up with some of the behind-the-scenes people who work tirelessly all year to put on the 'best Pasta Party and marathon' in the world. OK, that may be a slight exaggeration but not by much. In our 11th year in Negril, Reggae Marathon has consistently been ranked in the top 10 marathons in the world. And as my friend Bob Moore of the Washington Running Report often repeats, “Once you go you know”!
Tonight is going to be fun. Not only for the great food freshly prepared by the competing resorts but it's the chance to connect with a ton of online friends including:
- Dan Cumming, Reggae Marathon guest blogger, 'Ask Dan'
- The Sole
Sistas from Canada
- The Running Girlz, also from Canada
- Larry Savitch and the Easy Skankin group from New York
These are just a very few of the groups and runners coming to Reggae Marathon this year. I'll look out for all of you before and during the Pasta Party tonight. Just look out for my red Cialis levitra sales Puma Faas 500 Running Shoes!
