11 Days to Reggae Marathon: Oh yes we have bananas!

There were some concerns that Hurricane Sandy wiped out the banana crop in Jamaica.  The good news is that while there was

some damage to the crop, we will have bananas at Reggae Marathon December 1.  Oh, and fresh cut coconuts and cold Red Stripe beer.

That’s for after Reggae Marathon of course.  This year, we will also have GU gels at aid stations along the entire Reggae Marathon course.  So in addition to water and Hi-Lyte hydration in really cool and convenient plastic pouches at every mile aid station, look out for GU Gels at mile 12, 16 and 20.  Go to this link for complete details on Reggae Marathon Hydration.
