As I sat down to write this on Sunday morning I

was reminded that with the Internet and especially Social Media the distinction between the real and online world has become even more blurred.  This was prompted by a friend of one of my kids who now lives in New York City who was over for dinner recently.  He was in Jamaica last December for his first Reggae Marathon and loved it.  He mentioned that he’d seen the photos of the Air Cast on my right foot and hoped I’d be back and ready to run with him again in his second Reggae Marathon this December.  He’d been following Reggae Marathon on our blog and on Facebook all year.

In the early part of each year after the memories of the most recent Reggae Marathon have started to fade I love sharing pictures and stories.  Mid-year my excitement builds as I plan my trip back to Negril. In particular I look forward to mashing up my online social world with the real world when we meet up at Reggae Marathon.
