Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Races

People are talking about Reggae Marathon

One of the growing trends in tourism is sports tourism.  Triathlons, cycling or running events held in exotic destinations combine a special vacation experience with a race event and are increasingly appealing to runners and their families.  Reggae Marathon delivers a special sports and vacation experience in spades:  a great beach vacation destination with a world-class racing event including the full marathon, ½ marathon and 10K races.  And we get press!  Here’s what people have been saying about Reggae Marathon:

“Massive Fun at Reggae Marathon 2010″ . This is a nice recap of the 10th anniversary Reggae Marathon that started a bit damp but turned into a typically fantastic day-on-the Beach in Negril.  Plus some great pictures of Team Lipstick.  Check it out:  Massive Fun

“Capital of Casual” Negril hosts Reggae Marathon.  Here’s what to pack for the trip to Reggae Marathon in Negril:  running shoes, singlet, shorts or tights, bathing suit, sandals, shorts.  Oh and sun block.  Here are some additional facts and photos:  Capital of Casual.

“And the winners are?”  Into results?  Here’s a nice re-cap of the race in 2010:  Results.

“It was the night before the Reggae Marathon”.  Laura who publishes a blog called, ‘Absolutely Fit’ shared her experiences of running in the Reggae Marathon and included some great personal pictures:  The Night Before.

Bob Moore of Washington Running Report LOVES Reggae Marathon.  He is famous for starting most sentences with “Once you go you know”.  Check out one of his blog posts:  Run Washington.

Reggae Marathon 2011 is sure to remain at the leading edge of sports tourism.  Will  you be joining us this December?
