With a heavy heart, we announce that our valued Reggae Marathon volunteer and lead of our road logistics committee in Negril, Bernard Hylton, passed away peacefully last week. Bernard in happier times, is on the left.
Formerly of Couples Swept Away, Bernard was a very cheerful and unselfish giver, and no task was insurmountable under his watch. The provision of shuttle service and management of traffic during the annual road closure, improved tremendously with his guidance.
We will miss his friendship, smile, and genuine love of the event. Bernard truly believed that Reggae Marathon provided much benefit to the Negril community and it’s environs.
To his family, friends and colleagues. we send our sincere condolences. Our prayers are with them during this difficult time.
