Sunrise in Negril

All of us have seen the sunsets.  A few of us have seen the sunrises as well.  It means getting up early but if you’re a morning runner that shouldn’t be a problem.  Negril is a vacation for many though so rising early might seem counterintuitive.  But you owe it to yourself to take in a Negril sunrise.  We do!

The sun rises in the east of course and that means it rises ‘behind’ the beach which of course faces west.  It can be challenging finding a good location to take it in.  The photo above captures the best of a Negril sunrise in that it catches the sun just as it breaks the horizon.

This Negril sunrise was taken while out on the Reggae Marathon course.  It was taken from the top of the bridge that crosses the Negril River.  Quite the peaceful moment even though immediately behind the hoards or runners and walkers continued to stream by.

Do you have a picture of a Negril sunrise?  If so, we’d love to see it.

Until next time…
