The lost water bottle

Somewhere between Negril and Hilton, New York, Jessie lost her Reggae Marathon water bottle. We found out about this from Jessie’s Mom, Kathy who sent us this note:

Hi, my daughter ran in the Reggae Half-Marathon last Saturday. She lost her water bottle on the way home. I would love to surprise her with another one. Thank you for your help!

We love surprises and were eager to help!

On December 9th I sent you a message asking if there was a way I could get a replacement finisher’s water bottle for my daughter. She had run the Reggae Half Marathon – her first half marathon – and was so proud of her efforts. On the way home she lost her bottle and was so disappointed. One of your Staff members wrote to me and told me they would be happy to send her a new one! She had so much fun at the marathon that she is going to run it again this December. I am going to join her and walk the 10K; this will be my first 10K! We love Jamaica and cannot wait to return in December. Thank you so much!

Here is Jessie with her replacement Reggae Marathon water bottle and Finisher Medal:

Until next time…
