Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Races

21 Minutes to speed and endurance

Do you want to run faster?  Deep down every runner wants to run faster otherwise the makers of Garmin and Timex watches would be out of business.  We may not be at Elite status but Personal Bests, Negative Splits, Pace per mile and target times for races are all part of running and racing.

There are lots of ways to improve running speed and endurance.  I’ve tried them all:  speed workouts, hill repeats, stairs.  Unfortunately I’ve also repeatedly injured myself in my desire to run faster.  This workout from Carrie Tollefson, ’21 Minutes to Speed and Endurance’ appealed to me.  It’s focused and manageable for runners of all ages and experience levels.  Take a look.

Until next time…
