Running for the Red Stripe

First, grab a banana:  Potassium.  Second, head over to the guys chopping the fresh coconuts:  Nature’s electrolytes. Third, an Ice Cold Red Stripe:  refreshing!.  While the medical benefits of consuming a cold beer after racing may be up for debate, there is no argument the enjoyment of quaffing a ‘Cold One’ after Reggae Marathon.  Today’s post celebrates Reggae Marathoners celebrating with a Cold One!

2011 Reggae Marathon, Negril. December 3, 2011

Posing on the beach after Reggae Marathon, these are the Running Girlz.  Three-timers to Reggae Marathon, they also grace the Reggae Marathon Facebook page.

2010 Reggae Marathon

Beers vs Bears … check out the saying on this Reggae Marathoner’s T shirt.  Hmmm…a unique way to get in a speed workout?

Banana, Coconut, Massage, Beer.  Sounds like a good plan.  Oh, and all done right on the beach right outside the Reggae Marathon finish area.

Larry-and-Karen-in-Negril1

From Florida, New York, that’s Karen and Larry after Reggae Marathon.  Larry and Karen were in Negril this past spring (a break from the North East US Winter) and confirmed that they’ll be back this December once again for Reggae Marathon.  Larry, we expect to see another Tat.

Until next time…
