USA DELEGATION OF RUNNERS LEADS ENTRIES FROM 35 COUNTRIES TO REGGAE MARATHON IN NEGRIL, DECEMBER

As of Friday, November 27 the USA was leading in the number of entries to this year’s Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K, set for Saturday, December 5 in Negril. PARTICIPANTS IN BURGER KING REGGAE MARATHON GRAND PRIX STAND TO WIN NEARLY $1M

During the first 12 years of Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K, it has contributed more than US$11 million to the Negril community and the Jamaican economy, according to data collected by Jamaica Tourist Board and Reggae Marathon between 2001 and 2012. EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION FEE FOR REGGAE MARATHON, HALF MARATHON & 10 K CLOSES JULY 31, 2015

As the early bird registration fee to participate in this year’s Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K draws close to its July 31 deadline, runners from Saudia Arabia have registered for the first time, joining others from such countries as  USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Belgium and Poland.  To-date there has been a 29 per cent increase in registration at this time, compared to last year.
