Bonnie Fowler’s 1st Reggae Marathon

And she’s not coming alone.

Say hello to Bonnie Fowler of Toronto, Ontario.  She along with 36 runners and supports have booked their first trip to Reggae Marathon this December.   And as these things often happen, it all started with an innocent question from one of the runners: “How about we run the Reggae Marathon?”

Bonnie is a dedicated runner.  She runs with and lead a running group north of Toronto.  In races, she’s more concerned that each and every one of her runners achieves their goals than in achieving her own personal best.  I get that…nice going Bonnie.  As runners do while running, especially outdoor in the winter in Canada, someone made the suggestion that it would be more fun to run in the sun.  “Negril here they come”!  Reggae Marathon was their perfect choice to end 2013!

Bonnie and her group are working on a name right now and they plan T Shirts as well…that should make it easy to spot them Friday night at the Reggae Marathon Pasta Party at Couples Swept Away Sporting Complex.  And out on the course Saturday morning.

Bonnie and her group are planning a ‘Jamaica in July’ pool party this summer north of Toronto.  Hmmm…wonder if I can crash it…?

Until next time…
