The Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K blog has been selected by the prestigious blog.feedspot as one of the Top 50 marathon blogs on the worldwide web. Thousands of top marathon blogs on blog.feedspot index were judged using search and social metrics.
The announcement was made recently by blog.feedspot in an email to Alfred ‘Frano’ Francis, Race Director of Reggae Marathon Ltd, host of the annual Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K event.
Blog.feedspot advised on its site that the Top 50 blogs were ranked based on the following criteria:
- Google reputation and Google search ranking.
- Influence and popularity on Facebook, twitter and other social media sites.
- Quality and consistency of posts.
- Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review.
“I personally give you a high-five and thank you for your contribution to this world. This is the most comprehensive list of Top 50 marathon blogs on the internet and I’m honoured to have you as part of it!” said the email from blog.feedspot.
The Reggae Marathon RunninGuy is the official blogger for the annual sporting event for more than eight years. Also known as ThatRunninGuy, Diane Ellis, Sponsorship Director of Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K, said the person behind ThatRunninGuy is a very committed Jamaican runner.
“He did not start running until in his 20s and since then, has been a dedicated and passionate runner, having participated in many marathons around the world. He is an early riser so he tends to capture the pre-dawn setting at each annual event. This year he will participate in his 9th consecutive Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K set for December 2 in Negril,” said Diane Ellis, Sponsorship & Marketing Director for Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K.
