Runners from all over the world come to Reggae Marathon every year. 2013 is no exception. Recently we noted some of the the people and groups who are committed for this year (Update on who’s coming to Reggae Marathon). Since then we’ve heard from even more runners coming to Jamaica for Reggae Marathon December 7!
Eduardo Paniagua and Delia Laconich from Paraguay Marathon Club: “Wewill be in Negril this December”.
3 Members from Team RWB Buffalo, NY will be there!! “Team RWB is transforming the way that America supports its veterans as they transition from service member to civilian. We are creating communities of veterans, their families, and American citizens that enjoy authentic interaction through physical and social activities. We are so happy to take this trip and fly the eagle in Negril in just a few weeks!”
While not coming from the farthest away (Runners from Asia hold that record), Dan Cumming from British Columbia is coming back to Reggae Marathon for the 3rd straight year. Since he’s “Coming in from the Cold”, here is how he plans to get used to the warmer temperatures in Negril next week: One Love, One Race.
The Reggae Marathon Party starts as soon as you arrive in Negril! Officially of course it begins when you pick up your Race Kit (Thursday or Friday at Couples Swept Away Sporting Complex) and continues into the evening at the World’s Best Pasta Party. Things get serious for a few hours on Saturday for the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K races but the party picks up again at the Reggae Marathon post-race party on the Negril Beach.
So what are you waiting for? Get packing and join the world in Negril for Reggae Marathon December 7!
Until next time…
