Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Races

Running to the music at Reggae Marathon

It’s 4 am on Saturday morning.  You’re making your way to the start of Reggae Marathon at 5:15 am.  And you hear it…in the distance a Sound System with a steadily growing out Reggae beat.  And so it starts…

Along with your pre-race warm up ritual you’ll have music to get you moving and keep you strong all the way through Reggae Marathon.  At the start the drums beating along with the brightly lit torches give way to Bob Marley as you cross the starting line and the timing mats.   In the cool darkness as you settle into your pace on your way to the turn at the Negril Round-a-bout you’ll hear music in the distance as you approach the first of the Aid Stations.  There are Aid Stations at every mile marker with Water and Hydration pouches…and music!  It’s like that for every mile of your Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon or 10K.

Oh, and the glorious sunrise over Negril.  The sunset from the Beach or the cliffs in the West End are special memories; the sunrise at Reggae Marathon…priceless!

Until next time…
