11 days to go now. We’re making the final preparations to move our base of operations from Kingston to Negril. Our roadtrips have taken us all around the island hosting various road races this past year. The Jamaican road racing calendar culminates with Reggae Marathon Saturday, December 3.
The Reggae Marathon Race weekend begins Thursday, December 1. That’s the first day you can pick up your Race Kit at the Couples Swept Away Sporting Complex. December 2 is the final day to register (if you’ve left it to the last minute) and also pick up your Race Kit, still at Couples Swept Away. Then it’s over to Cosmo’s Restaurant for 5:30 pm for the Reggae Marathon Pasta Party. Outdoors and under the stars…what better way to load up on carbos. Then it’s early to bed Friday night…the 5:15 am Reggae Marathon start on Saturday morning comes soon enough.
