It’s 2 days to Reggae Marathon.  What a fantastic run on the beach this morning!  Easy running barefoot in the sand.  Well, splashing mostly…I felt like a kid again.  But hey, Negril for Reggae Marathon brings out the 12 year old in me!

If you’ve arrived from a colder climate, you will notice the significant difference in temperature in Negril.  Plus the sun is more intense.  Take it easy today getting used to the warmer temperatures.  Lots of sunscreen so you don’t burn before Race Day.  And hydrate.  Drink lots of water…I keep a couple of the largest bottled water in my room and fill up before I head out to the beach.

Today is also the first day you can pick up your Race Kit and if you’ve left it till now, register in person for all three race events.  Head over to the Couples Swept Away Sporting Complex after 1 pm today.

In the meantime…relax and enjoy.  You’r in the Capital of Casual!
