Packing for Reggae Marathon in Negril is so easy. Running gear, shorts, T shirts, sandals and of course, bathing suit. Negril is called the ‘
Capital of Casual’ and has been that way for all of it’s existence as a world-class vacation destination. And with the fantastic range of hotel properties that line the 7 mile white sand beach, it’s easy to relax and chill out.
Once each year though for a few hours on the first Saturday of December we suspend use of the word ‘casual’. This year, that day is this Saturday, December 1. 3 days and a ‘little bit’ away now. A little running, then post-race, head straight into the Caribbean Sea in your running gear after a nice massage right on the beach.
