One week today we line up on the road at Long Bay Beach Park. It’s just a few minutes after 5 am. We anxiously await Race Director Frano to send us off promptly at 5:15 am. He’s never been late in 19 years! The reggae music is blaring as we shuffle in the start corral. Then…the torches flare to life…moments away now…
