9 minutes to get strong? And all without going to the gym. Seems like magic but it’s not. I know a lot of runners who swear by strength training. They spend time strengthening their upper body, core and especially their legs. They tend to be faster runners who have a lot of ‘reserve’ in the tank especially with a couple of km’s to go. I know who you are: you generally are the ones passing me as we near the finish of a race!
So let’s get stronger together with this 9 minute workout: 9 minutes to get strong. There are 9 specific exercises that work to strengthen upper body, core and especially legs. I’ve been doing Planks for a number of years now and recently added Burpees. I’ll be working in the other 7 in the coming months. Let’s see you pass me this December on the final 200 metres to the Finish! 🙂
