The Costa Rica colours will be represented in Negril at Reggae Marathon this December 5. That’s courtesy of Jeremy Vargas of San Jose, Costa Rica who we met in Miami earlier this year and who’s coming with a group of runners. Jeremy’s a long-time runner (12 years) and he’s looking forward to racing in Negril. He’ll be weather adjusted as well and I’m sure we’ll see and hear from him at the Pasta Party Friday night.
We had the chance to catch up with Jeremy recently and he shared some of thoughts on running and Reggae Marathon.
“I learned about Reggae Marathon while in Miami this past January” Jeremy noted. “I met Reggae Marathon’s Race Director and others at the Reggae Marathon booth at the Health Expo” he continued. “I have a group of runners and it didn’t take me long to realize that Reggae Marathon would be an ‘Amazing Adventure'”.
That’s Jeremy on the right after the Miami Marathon. “We are looking forward to enjoying the land of Reggae this December” says Jeremy. “And we want to invite every Reggae Marathoner to come to run with us in Costa Rica”.
