It’s been said many times before that one of the highlights of the Reggae Marathon is ending at Long Bay Beach Park on Seven Mile Beach. But when you are in Negril, be sure to enjoy your time on the beach. If you are inclined, go for a run on the beach. Feel the sand between your toes and the splash of cold water on your ankles. It’s especially refreshing if you go for an early morning run as the sun is coming up.

During your trip, spend an afternoon under a beach umbrella and read a book and listen to music. While there, there will be many vendors who will be selling jewelry, juices, coconuts, and Jamaican patties. If it’s not too hot, take a walk along the beach during the day. Find one of the small restaurants along the water and enjoy a meal or a fresh juice.

Seven Mile Beach is pristine and not to be missed. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
