An update on who’s coming to Reggae Marathon

By plane, bus and car…a ‘lot’ of runners are coming to Reggae Marathon in Negril this December 7.  Some of you will be here for your first Reggae Marathon, while for it’s another return trip.   Over the past year we’ve been communicating with a number of groups  following their training and racing.  Here’s an update on just a few who we’ll see in Negril this December:

Easy Skankin.  Larry Savitch had an injury scare recently.  After an MRI, he got a clean bill of health and along with his wife is running the New York Marathon this week before joining us with his Easy Skankin group in Negril for his 3rd Reggae Marathon.  When you see him in Negril, ask him about the special bus trip he has planned for Sunday after Reggae Marathon.

Runner’s Mark.  Ingrid and 11 of her closest running friends will be in Negril for their 2nd consecutive Reggae Marathon event.  Look out for them at the Pasta Party Friday night.

Marsha Doucette and Lace up for Liver are back for their 2nd consecutive Reggae Marathon fund raising event.  They run, raise money and have a fun vacation.  Sounds great to us.

Bonnie Fowler and her Running Room team are booked and … almost packed.  They’ll be easy to spot at both the Reggae Marathon Pasta Party and the race Saturday morning

Running Girlz. They’ve been quiet but don’t let that fool you…on the course they leave nothing behind.

Lisa Laws and the Reggae Runnerz have their bags packed already for Negril.  Many of them have running and racing hard this fall and they plan to end 2013 on a high with Reggae Marathon.  They’ve designed some fabulous T Shirts so it will be easy to pick them out.

Have I missed you?  If so, leave me a comment and I’ll be sure to acknowledge you in an upcoming blog post.  See you  in Negril December 7 for Reggae Marathon 2013!

Until next time…
