The Reggae Marathon is an international running event with runners coming from all over the world. So it makes sense that we want to celebrate the women who come to Negril each year to run the Reggae Marathon. Runners have come from Japan, Germany, England, the United States, and of course our host country of Jamaica.

One of the things that I like most about the Reggae Marathon is the international flavor it has to it When you are at the pasta party, you are likely to hear languages from all over the world. And if you are lucky enough to know multiple languages you can converse with your new friends.
International Women’s Day is held every year on March 8th. The day is meant to celebrate women’s achievements and raise awareness of women’s equality while seeking parity too.
