To be ready for Reggae Marathon 2012 plan to arrive in Negril by November 29 latest. I'll get a good night's sleep Thursday night and be fresh and ready for an early Friday morning run with Bob Moore, Larry Savitch and Carrie Tollefson. Carrie, we'll try to keep up.
Friday night of course is the 'Not-to-be-missed' Reggae Marathon Pasta Party before early to bed for the 5:15 am prompt race start Saturday morning. Then it's beach, beach, beach until we leave Negril the following Tuesday. That's the basic plan and I'm already looking forward to a fantastic race weekend.
Reggae Marathon this year will be my 4th year in a row in Negril. I'm looking forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones. Here are some runners enjoying Reggae Marathon…remember to smile for the camera!
Have you seen a bigger smile? It may be a challenge getting through the Marathon, 1/2 or 10K but the smiles during and after seem to get bigger each year.
“Victory is beautiful when you deserve it”. I just love the saying on the shirt. And I never get tired of hearing it. Hmmm…maybe a tat?
“Focused and determined…and having fun”. That could be my new mantra for Reggae Marathon this year. I see a T-shirt…
Showing us the way. Newbie runners and veterans alike enjoying Reggae Marathon race weekend. Maybe that's the real magic of running in December in Negril at Reggae Marathon.
Until next time…
