Most of us screw up our nutrition. As active runners we have different and specific nutrition needs. That gets compounded by body type. Mesomorphs, athletic types looking to stay lean have different nutrition from Endomorphs with larger frames and lower metabolism. I’m an Endomorph and nothing frustrates me more that getting nutrition advice that doesn’t work. Through my research, I came across a really straightforward chart that lays out what and when to eat for the three major body types: Ectomorph, Mesomorph and Endomorph.
And remember, it’s OK to cheat once in a while. I do and that gives me the motivation some days to get my butt out of bed and go running!
