So, you are not only preparing for your race, but it’s also important to prepare for your trip as well. How long are you planning on staying in Negril? Be sure to come with enough time to acclimate to the weather. It will make the race more bearable if you can do a run a day or two beforehand.
Do you have your hotel booked? If not the Reggae Marathon website has a list of accommodations. Look for one that fits your needs. Don’t forget to make sure your transportation to and from the airport is set too. Remember, it’s a 90 minute (give or take) drive from the airport in Montego Bay to Negril.
When you get to Negril, be sure to take in the waters and the sunsets. They are both breathtaking.
