Some days on those tough runs it seems like I’m running forever. Then all too suddenly it’s over. What was all the fuss about? These are a few recent sayings that keep me inspired:
On those mornings when my head is shouting, “Just a few more minutes in bed’, this one gets me up. It takes a few more minutes to get started, but afterwards it feels so fulfilling!
The magic of 3. I’ve used this technique on just about every long training run and of course in races. Nice mind game that keeps my head occupied.
This one eliminates procrastination…something I’m particularly prone to especially in the pre-dawn morning hours when I do most of my running.
