Even after running 10k or the ½ Marathon, Reggae Marathon runners had enough energy to dance. I suppose the exciting drumming and torch light send off at 5:15 am matched with the welcome as we crossed the finish line had something to do with it. In any case, there seemed to be a lot of dancing after Reggae Marathon 2011. That's Jamaica and Jamaicans! Here are just some of the ‘dancing moments’ from Reggae Marathon 2011:

Running, dancing…dancing, running. What's the difference. It's all about having fun. And with reggae music at ever mile of Reggae Marathon, it was easy to get into the dancing mood.
I have mentioned that the post-Reggae Marathon party starts early right? In Jamaica after a strenuous yet enjoyable run it's never too early to enjoy a cold Red Stripe after a fresh-cut coconut…then enjoy the show. And this young man put on his young man put on quite the show.

And not to be outdone by some of us 'less seasoned' runners, Burt Carlson put on quite the show on the dance floor Saturday evening at the Negril Treehouse dancing up a storm with Reggae Marathon Female Winner Jennifer Goebel.
