You know the feeling, you’ve just run a marathon, half-marathon, or 10K and you are famished. I know that when you are traveling for a race, what you might eat after may be different than what you eat when you are at home. What you decide to indulge in after your race may also be determined by the time of day you finish. Some who run the NYC Marathon don’t finish the race until dinner time and go straight for that burger and beer. If you are in Negril, when you finish your race, it’s still early enough to eat breakfast. So, what do you go for when you get back to your hotel after the race? I still like that omelet and a lot of fresh fruit but I know that many will go for the traditional Jamaican breakfast of Ackee and Saltfish.
