4 Weeks to Reggae Marathon

Just over 4 weeks to go to Reggae Marathon 2014.  You ready?  We definitely are.  And we’re eager to catch up with all of you at the Pasta Party Friday night, the Races on Saturday morning and of course on the Beach at the Post-Race festivities.

Below is information on how to register and where to stay.  As well, if you have gently used running shoes, bring them with you and donate them.  They’ll go to a good cause:  The youngsters who race in the Burger King Reggae Marathon Grand Prix Series.  Details are below as well.

Counting The Days
Counting The DaysThe clock is running and we’re counting down the days before we see you in Negril on Saturday, December 6th! This has been a special year for us with running reaching ‘boom’ proportions in Jamaica and an incredible vibe building as runners from around the world are training for race day. Beginning with the World’s Best Pasta Party and ending with the Finish Line Bash, the 14th edition of Reggae Marathon will be bigger fun and just as vibesy as ever!

Leave Your Shoe Prints Behind
Many of our ‘youts’ who participate in our road races need good running shoes. These youngsters participate in theBurger King Reggae Marathon Grand Prix Series and share the same joy of running that you do, maybe even more, since they will run barefoot or wear poorly fitting shoes. Specially marked Shoe Donation Boxes will be at Registration and the Finish Line to collect gently worn running shoes that will be re-purposed to the next generation of runners.
