5K, 10K, or Half Marathon

We all have a favorite race distance to run. And it’s different for each person. And with each distance that you run; you have different levels of training that is involved. For marathoners, the training that is involved is longer in both duration and in miles that you will run. I have had periods in which I like training for a marathon and those in which I don’t like the training, But I digress. I want to know, what’s your favorite distance to race?

And don’t forget, the Reggae Marathon has many options this year for its race. If you can’t come and run it in person, you can do the marathon, half marathon, 10k or 5k virtually.  In person, we still have the half marathon, 10k, and 5k. Things to remember about running the Reggae Marathon; it’s hot so think about what a realistic distance is for you in Jamaica’s heat. It’s really early in the morning so if you think you’ll be tired running half, maybe consider running a shorter distance. As always, be sure to hydrate three to four days before that race.
