There’s a world beyond the beach in Negril?

There IS a world beyond the beach in Negril! Nothing wrong with wanting to hangout on the beach all day catching some sun. Miles of white sand, warm Caribbean lapping the shore. It’s easy to become mesmerized just gazing at the scenery. But it you must go beyond the beach, here are some suggestions:

Golf. Nearby in the hills is the Negril Hills Golf Club

Water Park. Right on the main road is the Kool Runnings Adventure Park

Waterfalls Nature Park. For even more water adventure head to, YS Falls south of Negril.

The World’s Best Sunset. Rick’s Cafe may be the most well known, but just about every hotel along the beach and up on the cliffs in the West End of Negril can boast of being the ‘best place’ to take in the sunset in Negril.  Rick’s Cafe

Want more? Longer excursions to places like Black River to see the Crocodiles, Duns River Falls to climb the falls and even to Kingston to visit the Bob Marley Museum can also be arranged via your hotel. Some of these will involve a good bit of driving though…Negril is located on the most Western tip of the Island…so take that into consideration.

So if you must go beyond the beach, these are just a few of the places and things to do in and around Negril.
