It’s time!  Time to start getting serious about the 2019 Reggae Marathon.

Now with school back in session, the countdown to December 8 really begins.  If you live in a northern climate, now’s the time to get those warm weather runs in before the cooler fall weather sets in.  You will thank me for that come December in Negril!

If you haven’t finalized your travel plans to Negril yet, now’s the time!  If you are coming from any part of Jamaica, Knutsford Express is an excellent option.  Leave the driving to them.  I’ve traveled with them a couple of times and it’s been great both times.  If flying into Montego Bay, JUTA Negril is another great transportation option.  Nice air conditioned coaches will get you to Negril comfortably.

Planning to run in new shoes this December?  Now’s the time to buy them and break them in.  There is nothing worse than racing in a pair of ill-fitting shoes.  I’ve done that and have the foot injuries to prove it!  Also, check out running socks now.  I’m a socks guy although I’ve run without on occasion.  I prefer the extra comfort and foot protection with proper crew-height performance running socks.
