I like the Jamaican Olympic Team Opening Ceremony Uniforms. A big ‘Thumbs up’ from me for their distinctive look. If like me you’ll
be watching the Olympic Games Opening Ceremonies just over a week from now you’ll have lots of one-way conversation with your TV on the different uniforms on display that evening. On Facebook and Twitter though it is likely to be a completely different matter…it should be fun to follow along especially that the athletes have been given permission to post individual comments.
But back to the uniforms…
I like them because in the sea of colours the Jamaican Olympic Team uniforms are going to stand out. And that is the point. We punch above our weight in just about everything we touch: music, art, dance, sports. So when the eyes of the world will be focused on the Jamaican team on the track at this year’s Olympics, Jamaica gets to show off our colours.
And I’m in good company in liking the Jamaica Olympic Team uniforms. Time Magazine weighed in and named them “Best in the World”. Check the article: The Best, the Worst and the Just Plain Weird”.
After the Olympic Opening Ceremonies are finished and the competition begins it this here’s what the Jamaican Olympic Team will be wearing when they tear it up on the field. These summer Olympic games promise to be the greatest show on earth this year! What a fine way to celebrate 50 years of Independence.
Until next time…
