One Foot in Front of the Other

One Foot in Front of the Other

Everyone has a mantra whether just for life or for running. I know that when I’m at the end of a race and I know that I am struggling, I tell myself “One foot in front of another.” That’s all I need to do to get to the finish line. That’s also a metaphor for life too. Each day, I move one foot in front of another until it’s time to go to bed at night!

If you’ve run the Reggae Marathon in the past, you know that the last mile is the Bob Marley Mile. Along the way, you’ll see signs with quotes from Bob Marley songs that will help push and motivate you to until you get to the finish line and collect your medal. Mantras can be inspirational or even sometimes funny.
