It certainly was an early rise this morning to grab a quick cup of coffee, wolf down some dry cereal before heading to the Reggae Marathon start line at Long Bay Beach Park. And what a morning it was. After a short warm-up, I had the chance for some last minute trash talk with Larry, Bob and Navin. Dan was the voice of maturity…thanks Dan!
As usual there was loud Reggae Music to send us off. And as usual after his brief words of encouragement, Frano sent us off promptly at 5:15 am with blazing torches lighting up the dark sky as we cros
sed the timing mat at the start line.
