After no Olympics in 2020, its great to see those athletes from around the world are preparing for a trip to Tokyo this summer. If you are from the United States, and a runner, we can’t but help and root for Aliphine Tuliamuk and Galen Rupp in the marathon. There is also Allyson Felix who is attempting to make the team on the track for the fifth time! Outside of running, who is excited to watch Simone Biles earn even more gold medals and accolades. To be honest, I prefer the summer Olympics much more than the winter Olympics.

If you’re from Jamaica, the Olympics will look different this year, especially on the track Usain Bolt will not be there for the first time since 2008. But have no fear, Jamaica still has Shelly-Anne Fraser-Pryce. She recently ran the second fastest time in the 100m for women- ever! She will represent Jamaica proudly.  Elaine Thompson will also be in Tokyo to represent Jamaica on the track.

Whoever you are rooting for this year in Tokyo, it will be exciting to watch the athletes perform at the highest level.
