While many come to Negril for the Reggae Marathon, there is so much more to see and do while in Jamaica. After you finish your run, take time to explore all that the island has to offer.

If an adventure is what you are looking for be sure to check out the Blue Mountains and go for a hike and see the country from a whole different vantage point. Looking for some waterfalls? Jamaica has many to offer. My favorite is YS Falls. But many like to check out Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios.  It’s a few hours from Negril. And when you’re traveling there, be sure to take in all the twists and turns of the Jamaican roads and the lush greenery. On my last trip to Negril, I went to Floyd’s Pelican Bar. It is literally a bar in the middle of the ocean! I had some fried chicken and bammy and of course a Red Stripe. It doesn’t get much better than that!
