Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Races

Pictures from Reggae Marathon: Just hanging out after the race.

First there is this’ little run’.  Then it’s fresh cut coconut water, beer and beach…in that order!

At Reggae Marathon runners all start together at 5:15 am for the 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon.  And because we are all

‘Chipped’, each of us will have our exact time on our Finisher’s Certificate.  Personal Bests, personal challenges or just plain fun, Reggae Marathon has something for everyone.  Especially afterward!

I said fresh cut coconut right? After a refreshing few minutes in the misting tent, I head straight for the Coconut Guys.  Nothing tastes better than drinking coconut water right from a fresh cut coconut.

And then of course grab a beer on your way to the Negril beach.  A cold Red Stripe Beer.  Just outside the fence that separates the beach area from the post-race area are the massage tables.  Always a line up but worth it to help ease the muscles before a dip in the Caribbean.

I’m pretty sure the smiles don’t get much bigger or better than these.  Warm weather, nice beach after a great run at Reggae Marathon.

Until next time…
