What are your favourite running shoes?

Over the years I’ve run in every brand of running shoes that exists.  Asics, Nike, New Balance, Saconey, Adidas, etc. I have tried every style including running flats, trail shoes and even the bizarre ‘air pump’ shoe that didn’t have laces!  Because I have fairly wide feet and have been dealing with falling arches, I am now more concerned than ever about proper fit and less so about style.  Maybe you know what I mean.

I’m currently running in a very nice pair now but they don’t feel just right.  And while I know I won’t ever run as fast as an Olympian, I am intrigued by the news coming out of Puma Running especially about the new Puma FAAS 500 series launching world-wide in early February.

Puma powered Usain Bolt to gold in the Olympics.  Up until that time while I knew Puma was into distance running, I knew much more about them as the official shoes of the Ferrari Formula One racing team.  I never considered them for running.  Of course as any serious runner knows, the quest to find the ‘perfect’ pair is unending.

So in the interest of all Reggae Marathon runners, I am going to try out a number of running shoes this year.  I can’t promise a totally scientific or extensive test, I’m just going to report on my running experience.  Along the way I hope to hear from you about your shoe experience…love them or hate them.

We’d love to hear your experience running in your favourite running shoes.  Leave

Until next time… Reggae Marathon RunninGuy
