9 Days to Reggae Marathon: Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate

yte” href=”https://www.facebook.com/HiLyteJamaica” target=”_blank”>Hi-Lyte hydration are available in super convenient plastic pouches before Frano sends us off at 5:15 am. Then at each of the aid stations that are located at each mile of the closed course, Reggae Marathon volunteers eagerly distribute water and Hi-Lyte. Tip: when it gets a bit warmer after the sun comes up, grab an extra water pouch and squirt it over your head and neck…great way to stay cool.

And the best way to hydrate after Reggae? A swim in the Caribbean once you’ve crossed the finish line, received your finisher’s medal and had a fresh cut coconut and Red Stripe. What other race offers that? None I can think of. See you in Negril next week.

Until next time…
