Happy 4th of July from Reggae Marathon

Running today?  What better way to celebrate the 4th of July that with a run.  From all of us at Reggae Marathon, Happy 4th of July!  Enjoy your run.  Over the past year Reggae Marathon has traveled to a number of races in the US.  Today we share with you the good times we shared with some of the friends we’ve met.

First up, the Boston Marathon earlier this year.  It was hot!  Unseasonably warm weather affected the race but for those who embraced the temperature and humidity…showed respect for the conditions…it was a good event.  At the race expo we had some fun with Usain Bolt.  Well, a life size cut-out of Usain anyway.  Check out the girls gone wild in this recap of the Boston Marathon Race Weekend.

Also earlier this year, the Miami Marathon.  Another warm one but expected in South Florida at that time of year.  Although seriously cool temperatures must also be planned for.  We met some good Reggae Marathon friends in Miami as well including Pepper Abel who claimed to be the first to register for Reggae Marathon 2012.  He sure looked good in his

Reggae Marathon T shirt.  Check it out in this recap of the Miami Marathon Race Weekend.

And of course who doesn’t love the New York Marathon.  More seasonal temperatures this time and with just under a month before Reggae Marathon 2011 a nice tune up for Negril.  OK, maybe not temperature-wise, but the crowds every step along the route feels like running in Negril at Reggae Marathon.  Here are some of the friends we met in New York at the New York Marathon.

So, enjoy the day.  Hope you have time for a run.  Happy 4th of July!

Until next time…
