Ever had a song that sticks in your head and plays over and over? Sometimes I get stuck…pleasantly of course…on Bob Marley’s ‘Jammin’. Other times it’s Bob Seger’s ‘Night Moves’. And don’t get me started with ‘Mambo #5’ … I’m still waiting for # 1 through 4!
All this is a round-a-bout way to say that a big part of Reggae Marathon is the music. On the drive to Negril one of my favourite things to do is to listen out for snippets of music as we make it through Lucea, Green Island and on to our hotel in Negril. At the Pasta Party, I look forward to the energetic and entertaining Silverbird Steel Band. And on Saturday morning the drumming at the start of Reggae Marathon combined with reggae at every mile’s Aid Station.
Music! It’s a big part of the Reggae Marathon Experience!

(bad pun I know). But hey…with just over 35 days to go to Reggae Marathon December 1 I can be excused for getting excited.
